With Halloween a fond memory and a lingering tummy ache in our lives, it finally feels like fall. I love the holidays because it gives me an excuse to play with some new home décor and party ideas. While everyone naturally assumes that all of my entertaining at home is a major production, I actually look for simple affordable ways to roll in the holidays and entertain in style. I will admit that I get bored with design elements really quickly. Therefore, I always design my house for the holidays in phases so I can switch out items and live with certain items for only a week or two and not feel bad when I retire them. So I’m going to let you in on a few of the items I’m looking at this holiday season to get me and my loved ones in a festive mood!
100 Mixed Fall Silk Maple Leaves Table Scatter
These Mixed Fall Silk Maple Leaves are described as table scatter but I plan to use some monofilament to hang them in my bay windows to give the impression that there are beautiful fall leaves all over the ground as I gaze outside! At $13.99, I will order a few bags and just see how the leaves move me.
Autumn Leaves Wire Garland
This Autumn Leaves Wire Garland comes in a 25ft long strand but I intend to keep it molded as shown in the above picture. I will keep each reef small at a circumference of no larger than 8 inches in diameter. After tied off, I will add some holiday acorns and pine cones and then hang these on all of the interior doors in my house for a fall touch. Not bad for $4.99 each.
Assorted Fall Decorative Pumpkins and Gords
I plan on using these Fall Decorative Pumpkins and Gords to spruce up my mailbox. I will cover my mailbox with burlap and then using a handy hot glue gun, I will attach these assorted items like designing a pave or florals to create a lush design statement! For only $8.99 a bunch, I’m going to make a great fall statement.
Fall In Love Scented Leaf Soaps
I am normally a fan of soap in powder bathrooms being contained in a soap dispenser. However, these Scented Leaf Soaps are so adorable and they deserve an appearance at our home over the holidays! At only $1.94 each, I intend to keep them in my powder bath through New Years.
Spiced Pumpkin Room Spray
The holidays are not complete without yummy aromas around the house. This Spiced Pumpkin Spray is one of my favorites and for $4.99, Yankee Doodle Candle has me hooked!
